The council have listened to us and has put some plans in place for a park on the site. It's better than previous plans which had no green space whatsoever, however whilst this is being branded a public park by the council, it looks more like a path than a park.
This is the last chance to have a public park in the city centre.
In Manchester city centre the population has gone from
2010 15k
2015 35k
2020 60k
and is projected to be 100k by 2030.
All these people need quality outdoor space.
All you need to do is head to this website, check out the plans, and fill in the form about the park and the offices:

You can also email your local councillors and Lucy Powell (city centre MP) to engage with them directly about your needs.
